How do we know Christ's work of redemption is finished?

Answered in 3 sources

Christ's work of redemption is finished because He sat down at the right hand of the Father, signifying that His sacrifice was complete.

The sitting down of Christ at the right hand of God is significant. In Hebrews, we see that the priests of the Old Testament never sat down because their work was never complete; they continually offered sacrifices. In contrast, Christ, through His one sacrifice, made His people perfect forever (Hebrews 10:14). His ascension and subsequent seating at the right hand of the Father indicate that He finished the work of redemption, establishing righteousness for His people once and for all. This assurance enables believers to have confidence before God, knowing that we come on the basis of Christ's completed work.
