How do we know God is sovereign in our trials?

Answered in 3 sources

We recognize God's sovereignty in our trials through His consistent provision and faithfulness throughout biblical history.

God’s sovereignty is a cornerstone of Reformed theology, and we find assurance of His control in our trials through various biblical accounts. The life of Abraham exemplifies this, as he faced challenges and uncertainties yet remained steadfast in his faith, believing that God would be his provider. The trials we face serve to strengthen our reliance on God, and His faithful provisions remind us of His overarching plan for our good and His glory. Our trials are not random; they are managed by a sovereign God who sees our end from our beginning.
