How do we know God's judgments are true?

Answered in 6 sources

God's judgments are true as they are based on His infallible character and divine nature, which is always righteous and just.

The truthfulness of God's judgments stems from His perfect nature. God is defined by righteousness and truth; therefore, His judgments reflect His character. Romans 3:4 declares, 'Let God be true, but every man a liar.' When we understand that God's judgments are rooted in His intrinsic holiness and justice, we realize that they are infallibly true. The biblical narrative shows us that throughout history, God's judgments have proven consistent and just. As seen in Revelation 18, where God’s judgments are executed against Babylon, we see that divine retribution against falsehood and rebellion is a reflection of His truthful and just character. This understanding reassures believers of God’s sovereign authority and ultimate justice.
