How do we know God will deliver us in times of trouble?

Answered in 2 sources

We know God will deliver us because He has promised in His Word and has delivered His people throughout history.

Believers can have confidence in God's deliverance based on scriptural promises and historical accounts of His faithfulness. Daniel's experience in the lion's den illustrates how God intervened to deliver His faithful servant, showing that God is mighty to save those who trust in Him. As outlined in Philippians 4:19, Paul reassures us that 'my God shall supply all your need.' Such promises reinforce our faith that God is not only able but also willing to deliver us from our trials if we look to Him in faith and humility. Our personal testimonies, along with the testimonies of others in Scripture, affirm that God is always present and works for the good of those who love Him.
