How do we know if a teacher is from God?

John instructs believers to 'try the spirits' to determine whether they are from God. A true teacher will support the full divinity and humanity of Christ, along with his saving work. Since Antichrist influences many around us, discerning the truth requires vigilance against messages that appeal to worldly desires rather than God's revelation. Thus, a genuine teacher will reflect and uphold biblical doctrine in their preaching and teaching.
