How do we know if Christ is in us?

Answered in 3 sources

We know Christ is in us through the evidence of our faith and the transformative work God does in our hearts.

The presence of Christ in us is evidenced by a transformation that occurs in our lives when we are truly in the faith. As Paul states in Colossians, 'Christ in you, the hope of glory.' This transformation includes new desires, a longing for a closer relationship with God, and an understanding of His Word. Genuine faith results in a life that seeks to glorify God, demonstrates love for others, and cultivates a hunger for righteousness. If we exhibit these characteristics, it is a sign that Christ is indeed dwelling within us.
