How do we know if we are truly living in Christ?

1 John 2:3-5 clarifies that true knowledge of Christ is evidenced by obedience to His commandments. These commandments include the call to love one another, as noted in verses 7-10. A genuine relationship with Jesus transforms our lives, leading us to act in ways that reflect His character and teachings. Hence, if we find ourselves increasingly loving others and keeping His word, we can be assured we are genuinely in Him. This assurance comes from the inner testimony of the Spirit, affirming our place in God’s family and the fruit of love manifested in our lives.
