How do we know Jesus Christ is our kinsman redeemer?

Answered in 3 sources

Jesus Christ is our kinsman redeemer because He shares in our humanity and fulfills the requirements of a redeemer by His perfect life and sacrificial death.

The identity of Jesus Christ as our kinsman redeemer is central to understanding His relationship with humanity. In order for Christ to be our redeemer, He had to be fully God and fully man, sharing in our nature while remaining sinless. This duality is critical; He took upon Himself the form of a servant, becoming like us to fulfill the obligations of a kinsman. As the redeemer, He must also be able to satisfy the justice of God, which He accomplished through His sacrificial death. Thus, He meets all the requirements necessary to redeem us from sin, death, and condemnation, illustrating the profound mystery of the Incarnation and the grace of God in providing a savior.
