How do we know Jesus Christ is our Kinsman Redeemer?
Answered in 2 sources
Jesus Christ is our Kinsman Redeemer because He fulfills the requirements of a redeemer through His incarnation and sacrificial death.
Jesus Christ is uniquely qualified to be our Kinsman Redeemer because He took on human flesh, allowing Him to relate directly to our human condition. The necessities of kinship—being one of us and sharing in our experience of suffering—are essential for redemption. By coming as a man, not only does He embody our nature, but He also possesses the ability to pay the ultimate debt: His own life. As it states in Ephesians 1:7, in Him we have redemption through His blood, underscoring the depths of His sacrifice and the immense value of the redemptive act. Hence, His role encompasses both our emotional connection and His divine capability to save us.
