How do we know Jesus Christ is the ultimate hope for believers?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus Christ is our ultimate hope, as He is portrayed as the 'Ark' of salvation in whom all believers find refuge.

In the sermon, Christ is depicted as the Ark in which God's people find safety amidst life's trials. Just as the ship carried Paul and the other prisoners to safety, Jesus carries believers through the storms of life. In Acts 27, the sailors’ trust in the ship reflects the necessity of believers' trust in Christ. The notion that if Paul—representing Christ—was saved, then all aboard would be preserved illustrates the unbreakable union of the believer with Christ. This unity assures the believer's eternal safety because it is not the strength of their faith that saves, but the object of their faith—Christ Himself.
