How do we know Jesus is the fulfillment of prophecy?

Answered in 4 sources

Jesus' fulfillment of Old Testament prophecy is evidenced throughout Scripture where He speaks of Himself as the culmination of God's plan.

We know Jesus is the fulfillment of prophecy through numerous Old Testament references that He directly fulfills in His life and ministry. For instance, in Luke 24:27, Jesus explains to the disciples on the road to Emmaus how all the Scriptures concerning Himself were fulfilled. Prophecies from Isaiah, David, and Moses among others point to Him as the Messiah who would suffer and bring salvation. This consistent testimony highlights the unity of God's redemptive plan across both the Old and New Testaments.
