How do we know Jesus' sacrifice for sin is sufficient?

Answered in 3 sources

We know Jesus' sacrifice is sufficient because God exalted Him through resurrection and ascension, signifying the completion of redemption.

The sufficiency of Jesus' sacrifice is confirmed by several key events. After His death, Jesus was resurrected, an event that declares that His work was completed and accepted by God the Father (Romans 4:25). The empty tomb is a proclamation that sin has been definitively dealt with. Furthermore, His ascension to heaven where He sits at the right hand of God signifies His role as the Mediator and confirms that He has earned that right through His complete obedience and sacrificial death. Through these acts, the believer can be certain that the debt of sin has been fully paid and God's justice satisfied.
