How do we know Jesus saves us?

Answered in 2 sources

We know Jesus saves because He fulfilled the law and bore our sins through His death, offering us justification.

The assurance of salvation through Jesus Christ is rooted in His accomplished work on the cross, where He fulfilled all righteousness and paid the penalty for sin. Jesus proclaimed that He came to seek and save the lost (Luke 19:10), demonstrating His purpose as the Savior. Justification is granted to those who believe in Him, as articulated in Galatians 2:16, which states that a person is justified by faith in Jesus Christ and not by the works of the law. This means our hope is secure in His perfection and grace, making it clear that salvation is exclusive to Him.
