How do we know that believers are not under the law?

Answered in 7 sources

Scripture clearly teaches that believers are not under the law, as seen in Galatians 3:24-25, which states that the law was a schoolmaster leading to Christ.

We can be assured that believers are not under the law through the teachings found in Scripture. Galatians 3:24-25 illustrates this point by stating, 'Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.' This indicates that the purpose of the law was to lead us to Christ, and now that faith has arrived, we are free from its demands. Romans 10:4 further emphasizes that 'Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believeth.' Hence, believers are justified by faith in Christ rather than by adherence to the law, which confirms our liberation from legalistic practices.
