How do we know that Christ fulfills the role of Moses?

The fulfillment of Moses' role in Christ can be established through several theological and scriptural evidences. First, both Moses and Christ performed miracles that affirmed their divine commissions; Moses brought plagues upon Egypt and parted the Red Sea, while Christ performed miracles that revealed His authority over nature, illness, and sin.
