How do we know that Christ is our Deliverer?

In Acts 7, Stephen proclaims that Christ is our true Deliverer, mirroring the deliverance of Israel from Egypt. Just as God sent Moses when all hope seemed lost, He sent Christ at the perfect time to redeem His people. Jesus bore the punishment for our sins, allowing God to remain just while justifying us.
