How do we know that Christ is our true High Priest?

Answered in 2 sources

Christ is recognized as our true High Priest through His sacrificial death and resurrection, fulfilling the role that Aaron typified.

The certainty of Christ being our true High Priest is rooted in His unique atoning work. In Hebrews 9:11-12, it states that Christ, through His own blood, entered into the holy place and obtained eternal redemption for us. Unlike Aaron, who entered the earthly tabernacle once a year with the blood of animals, Christ offered Himself once for all. His resurrection is the ultimate declaration of God's satisfaction with the atonement for sins as affirmed in Romans 4:25. It is through Christ's role as our High Priest that believers receive assurance of salvation and the continual intercession that He provides at the right hand of the Father.
