How do we know that faith is important for Christians?

Answered in 8 sources

Faith is essential because it is the means through which we please God and overcome the world's challenges (Hebrews 11:6).

Hebrews 11:6 emphasizes that 'without faith, it is impossible to please God.' This indicates that faith is the fundamental requirement for a relationship with Him. Furthermore, faith is what enables believers to face the world and its deceptions without fear. It cultivates a desire to honor God in every aspect of life, leading to obedience born out of love rather than obligation. Thus, faith not only justifies but also sanctifies, guiding how Christians navigate through life.
