How do we know that God protects us from our enemies?

Answered in 1 source

God’s Word assures us of His protection over those who trust in Him, as reflected in Psalms and throughout Scripture.

God’s protection is a central theme in the life of a believer. Psalm 17 reveals the need for divine intervention against the threats posed by our enemies. The verses emphasize that we are not left to fend for ourselves, as the psalmist calls out for God to act and protect him. Our assurance is rooted in the character of God, who listens to the cries of His people and who has already won the ultimate victory over sin and death through Christ. As believers, we find comfort knowing that our lives are hidden with Christ in God, and He is our refuge and strength.
