How do we know that God's call for peace is true?

The Bible consistently emphasizes God's desire for peace and reconciliation. In Ephesians 4:3, Paul instructs believers to be eager to maintain unity in the spirit of peace. This call for peace is rooted in God's character, as seen in verses like Romans 15:33, where He is referred to as the God of peace. Moreover, in the Lord's Prayer, Jesus teaches His disciples to seek God's kingdom, which is fundamentally about bringing peace. The biblical narrative reveals that God actively works for peace, and His expectation for His people to pursue it reflects His nature. Furthermore, as Christians, we are empowered by the Holy Spirit to be agents of His peace in a divided world.
