How do we know that God's justice is trustworthy?

Answered in 1 source

God's justice is trustworthy because He alone knows the entirety of every situation and will always enact perfect justice.

Scripture affirms that God's justice is perfect and trustworthy, as described in Romans 12:19 where Paul reminds believers not to seek vengeance, for it is written, 'vengeance is mine; I will repay,' says the Lord. God possesses the omniscience and omnipotence necessary to dispense justice in a manner that humans cannot achieve. When we relinquish our desire for personal vengeance and rest in God’s sovereign justice, we demonstrate our trust in His character and His commitment to righteousness. As sinners redeemable only by grace, we recognize that no evil will go unpunished, as Christ bore our sins on the cross, offering both justice and mercy.
