How do we know that God's love is true?

Answered in 9 sources

God's love is proven through the giving of His Son for our salvation, which assures us that believers will not perish.

The truth of God's love is demonstrated by His action in giving His only begotten Son, as articulated in John 3:16. This sacrificial love assures us that all who believe in Jesus will not perish but have everlasting life. The logic of the gospel reinforces this truth: if God has willingly given up His Son for sinners, it signifies the depth of His love and commitment to redeem those who trust in Him. Consequently, the assurance of salvation rests not in our merit, but solely in the worth of Christ's blood and the faithfulness of the Father.
