How do we know that God's plans are for His church?

The assurance of God's providence in history demonstrates His supreme plan for His church. According to Ephesians 1:11, God works all things according to the counsel of His will. Throughout biblical history, all events, even those that seem adverse, are orchestrated for the ultimate benefit of Christ's church.
