How do we know that God's providence is real?

Answered in 3 sources

God's providence is manifest in the details of our lives, guiding us according to His purpose, as illustrated in the story of the woman with the issue of blood.

The providence of God is the sovereign, eternal purpose by which He arranges all events for His glory and the good of His people. In the account of the woman with the issue of blood, we see God's providential hand at work; her condition and desperation drove her to seek Jesus, the Great Physician. This narrative illustrates that God orchestrates circumstances, both joyful and difficult, to fulfill His purposes in our lives. Romans 8:28 assures us that 'all things work together for good to them that love God,' exemplifying how God's providence is consistently active in the life of believers. It is through understanding this providential care that we find comfort and encouragement in times of trial.
