How do we know that God saves his people?

Answered in 1 source

We know God saves his people by His promises and through the working of His Word.

God's salvation is certain because it is grounded in His perfect promises and the nature of His divine grace. In the sermon, it is emphasized that when a preacher lifts up Christ and His work, it serves as the means through which God draws His people to Himself, fulfilling His purpose for salvation. Additionally, Scripture reassures us that 'the Lord hath done great things for us,' confirming His active role in the salvation of souls. The transformation in individuals' lives—evidenced by their changed behavior and the realization of God’s mercy—also attests to the truth of their salvation.
