How do we know that God will do us good?

Answered in 2 sources

God’s goodness is rooted in His promise and faithfulness as demonstrated throughout Scripture.

Moses assured Hobab in Numbers 10:29 that if he joined them, they would do him good because God had spoken good concerning Israel. This assurance stems from God’s unchanging character and His covenant promise to His people, illustrating that His goodness is extended through His grace and mercy. As believers, we trust not only in the goodness of God as a concept but in the personal relationship we have with Him through Christ, who assures us of eternal good on our journey. This reflects the essential unity between God’s people and Christ, emphasizing that their common journey leads to a place where God’s goodness is fully realized.
