How do we know that Jesus is our advocate before God?

According to Psalm 24:3-4, the question posed is, 'Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in His holy place?' The answer highlights the necessity of having clean hands and a pure heart to stand before God. This indicates the need for a mediator, and that mediator is found in the Person of Jesus Christ. He alone fulfills the requirement of holiness, having lived a perfect life without sin. Furthermore, 1 John 2:1 reinforces this concept by affirming that Jesus Christ is our Advocate with the Father. He stands in our place as the perfect substitute, having borne our sins and provided the righteousness we need to be accepted by God.
