How do we know that Jesus is our true liberator?

Answered in 1 source

We recognize Jesus as our liberator through His fulfillment of the Scriptures and His sacrificial work on the cross.

The sermon emphasizes that Jesus stands as the ultimate fulfillment of the liberation depicted in the Old Testament. While Israel experienced a temporal liberation through Moses, it is Christ who is the true Moses, delivering us from the deeper bondage of sin and spiritual death. His sacrifice as the true Passover lamb provides the assurance of freedom from the wrath of God, as reflected in Exodus 12:23. The testimony of the New Testament clarifies this role of Jesus, affirming His identity as our Savior who has redeemed us from the curse of the law (Galatians 3:13).
