How do we know that Jesus is the true prophet?

The identification of Jesus as the true prophet is supported by the multitude of Old Testament prophecies, particularly those in Deuteronomy 18, which speak of a prophet to come. Jesus not only fulfills the role by His miraculous works and authoritative teachings, but He also embodies the very essence of prophecy, being the Word made flesh (John 1:14). Furthermore, His predictions and the event of his resurrection assert His divine authority, providing clear evidence that He is indeed the prophet that Moses spoke of, complete and perfect in fulfilling God's law.
