How do we know that Jesus is the ultimate sacrifice?

Answered in 2 sources

Jesus fulfills all the requirements of the law as the perfect and final sacrifice for sin (Hebrews 10:10).

The belief that Jesus is the ultimate sacrifice is substantiated by the fulfillment of the Old Testament sacrificial system. Hebrews 10:10 tells us that 'we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.' The animal sacrifices of the Old Testament were types and shadows that pointed to Him. Jesus' death was the final and complete sacrifice that satisfied the justice of God, offering forgiveness for sin and reconciling us to God. His resurrection further affirms His role as the ultimate sacrifice, demonstrating that sin and death could not hold Him, thereby securing redemption for all who believe.
