How do we know that Jesus is the ultimate sacrifice?

Answered in 3 sources

Jesus is confirmed as the ultimate sacrifice through His fulfillment of Old Testament prophecies and His unique offering for sins.

The Scripture in Hebrews 10 articulates that Jesus' coming was prophesied and that He fulfilled that promise through His sacrificial death. He declared, 'Lo, I come to do Thy will, O God' (Hebrews 10:9), indicating His purpose in God's redemptive plan. Unlike the sacrifices of bulls and goats, which could never truly atone for sin, Christ's sacrifice was once for all and effective in putting away sin, as highlighted in verse 10. His obedience and sacrifice establish Him as the ultimate High Priest and Mediator between God and humanity.
