How do we know that Jesus reveals God?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus reveals God because He is the only begotten God, who is in the bosom of the Father (John 1:18).

The revelation of God in Jesus Christ is central to Christian theology. In John 1:18, it is declared that 'the only begotten God, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.' This establishes Jesus as the sole revealer of the nature of God. His incarnation is a manifestation of God to humanity. While God is wholly invisible and incomprehensible in His essence, Jesus, as the God-man, provides the only clear revelation of who God is. This revelation is necessary as human beings can only understand God as He chooses to disclose Himself, which He does primarily through His Son (Matthew 11:27).
