How do we know that salvation is apart from the law?

Answered in 1 source

Salvation is apart from the law because it is through faith in Christ alone, not by our compliance with the law.

Paul emphasizes that our salvation is not rooted in our ability to uphold the law; rather, it is founded upon the grace of God achieved through the work of Jesus Christ. Throughout his letter to the Romans, especially in chapters 6 and 7, Paul asserts that believers have died to the law through Christ. The law, while holy and just, cannot save; it was given to reveal our sinfulness and our need for a Savior. Our justification comes solely through faith in Christ, who perfectly fulfilled the law on our behalf and enables us to live in accordance with His will by the Spirit.
