How do we know that trusting in the Lord is beneficial?

Answered in 1 source

Trusting in the Lord leads to a promise of righteousness and fulfillment of desires.

Faithfulness to God and trust in His guidance bring about spiritual blessings and confidence in His plans. The psalmist highlights that those who commit their way to the Lord will have their righteousness shine forth as light. This demonstrates that relying on God is not in vain; He promises to fulfill the desires of our hearts when our delight is fully in Him. By placing our faith in Him, we align ourselves with His will, allowing Him to direct our paths and produce beneficial outcomes in our lives.
