How do we know that we are at peace with God?

Answered in 1 source

We can have peace with God through faith in Jesus Christ, who justifies us before Him.

The assurance of peace with God is rooted in the doctrine of justification by faith. Romans 5:1 explains that those who have faith in Jesus Christ are justified, which leads to peace with God. This means that believers, once enemies of God due to sin, are reconciled through Christ's sacrificial death and resurrection. This reconciliation not only brings forgiveness of sins but also a confident relationship with the Almighty, where believers can approach God without fear (Hebrews 4:16). Knowing that our relationship with God is secure allows us to enjoy His peace all the more deeply.
