How do we know the Church has divine protection?

Answered in 1 source

The Church is divinely protected by God's providence, angels, and Christ's presence.

The divine protection of the Church is a central theme in its characterization as the City of God. It is safeguarded by a threefold wall: first, the wall of God’s providence, as stated in Job 1:10, which assures believers that the Lord surrounds them like mountains surround Jerusalem (Psalm 125:2). Additionally, the Church is under the protection of holy angels, as Psalm 34:7 affirms that 'the angels of the Lord encamp round about them that fear him.' Most significantly, God Himself provides a supernatural defense, described as a wall of fire around her (Zechariah 2:5), which guarantees safety against all spiritual adversaries.
