How do we know the Church is always present?

The consistent presence of the Church is assured by biblical promises that affirm God's faithfulness. In Revelation 12:6, the Church is depicted as enduring despite persecution, illustrating that while it may appear obscured at times, it never ceases to exist. The assertion that the Church can be diminished but never destroyed aligns with the promise of Christ that 'the gates of hell shall not prevail against it' (Matthew 16:18). Therefore, believers can take comfort in the reality that, regardless of the circumstances, God's Church exists and functions as His ordained mechanism for grace and truth in the world.
