How do we know the doctrine of Christ's superiority is true?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible affirms Christ's superiority over all messengers and prophets, as He is the very Son of God.

Hebrews 1 and 2 expound on the superiority of Christ over all previous messengers, including angels and prophets. In Hebrews 1:4, it is declared that Jesus has inherited a more excellent name than the angels. This establishes His supremacy as the ultimate revelation of God to man. Since He is the embodiment of God’s glory and the exact representation of His nature (Hebrews 1:3), the truth of His superiority is essential for our understanding of redemption and the full revelation of God's grace. The acknowledgment of Christ’s authority and identity is crucial for our faith.
