How do we know we love God?

Answered in 4 sources

We can know we love God if we have a sincere desire for Him, which is evidenced by our actions and obedience to His commandments.

Loving God is both a heartfelt affection and a commitment to obedience. As noted in Matthew 22:37-39, we are commanded to love the Lord with all our heart, soul, and mind. This love must also reflect sincerity; as Paul writes in Ephesians 6:24 about grace being with those who love Christ in sincerity. Our love for God is exemplified when our hearts are undivided, prioritizing Him above all else. Our actions and desires reveal this love, as true love for God leads to active obedience and a yearning for fellowship with Him, as expressed through worship and devotion.
