How do we respond to God's promises?

Answered in 1 source

We respond to God's promises with faith and affirmation, following the example found in Scripture.

The appropriate response to God's promises is to affirm them with faith, acknowledging their truth as demonstrated in Scripture. As seen with Abraham, who did not waver in belief regarding God's promises (Romans 4:20-21), we are called to trust in the assurance that God will fulfill His word. This involves understanding that each promise, whether regarding salvation or eternal life, requires our complete confidence and acknowledgment—'yea and amen.' By responding this way, we align our hearts with the truth of God's character and His faithfulness, demonstrating our reliance on Him and His everlasting promises.
