How does Christ save us to the uttermost?

Answered in 1 source

Christ saves us to the uttermost through His sacrificial death and continuous intercession.

Christ's ability to save to the uttermost is based on two foundational aspects: His sacrificial death and His ongoing intercessory work. By dying on the cross, He bore the punishment for our sins, satisfying God's justice completely. This foundational act of salvation assures that all who come to Him in faith are saved eternally. Additionally, His role as an eternal High Priest means He continually intercedes for His people, ensuring that no one can pluck them from His hand. The completeness of His salvation is assured because He fully accomplishes what He was sent to do, which is to redeem His elect from their sins and grant them eternal life.
