How does faith in Jesus relate to knowing God?

Answered in 1 source

Faith in Jesus is essential for knowing God, as He is the exclusive revelation of the Father (John 14:7).

According to John 14:7, knowing Jesus is intrinsically connected to knowing the Father. Jesus teaches that true saving knowledge of God is accessible only through Him. He embodies the truth of God’s character and the very essence of eternal life, as stated in John 17:3, 'This is eternal life, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.' Therefore, without faith in Jesus, one cannot truly know God, reinforcing the necessity of faith in one's relationship with the Creator.
