How does God help us to seek Him?

Answered in 1 source

God aids us in our search for Him by revealing Himself through His Word and the illumination of the Holy Spirit.

The sovereignty of God is evident in how He draws individuals to seek Him, as seen with the wise men who followed the star to Christ. According to scripture, God utilizes various means—such as His Word and the work of the Holy Spirit—to guide and illuminate our paths towards Him (1 Corinthians 1:30). The light that the wise men saw serves as a metaphor for how the Scriptures illuminate the truth of Christ. However, it is ultimately God's grace that opens hearts and minds to the truth, prompting individuals not only to seek Him but to find Him in their pursuit. Isaiah 65:1 illustrates this well, showcasing God's initiative in seeking those who are not looking for Him.
