How does the Holy Spirit relate to love and faith?

Answered in 1 source

The Holy Spirit instills God's love in believers' hearts, enabling them to fulfill the law of love.

The Holy Spirit plays a critical role in the life of the believer by pouring God's love into their hearts (Romans 5:5). This divine love enables believers to fulfill the command to love one another genuinely. As they grow in faith, they also grow in love, which is described as a fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22). Furthermore, the presence of the Holy Spirit serves as assurance that believers are indeed children of God and that their love for others is a sign of their spiritual life and connection to God. The Spirit empowers believers to bear witness to the truth of the Gospel through their love and actions.
