What does it mean to believe God is God?

Answered in 1 source

To believe God is God means to fully trust in His sovereign nature and authority.

Believing that God is God involves recognizing His sovereignty, majesty, and authority over all creation. As stated by Paul Mahan, true faith acknowledges God as the 'I am that I am'—the one who exists in and of Himself, without need of anything outside of Himself. This understanding leads to a reverent fear of God and recognition of His authority in our lives. Faith in this context is more than acknowledging God's existence; it is submitting to His will and embracing His revelations as the ultimate truth, as Moses did when he approached God at the burning bush (Exodus 3).
