What does the Bible say about Christ as the true manna?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible describes Christ as the true bread that comes down from heaven, which brings eternal life to those who believe.

In John 6:50, Jesus states, 'This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof and not die.' This reflects the idea that just as manna sustained the Israelites in the wilderness, Christ sustains believers spiritually. He is the true manna, offered freely to all who come to Him in faith (Revelation 2:17). Like the manna, which was essential for the physical survival of the Israelites, Christ is essential for the spiritual nourishment and eternal life of believers.
