What does the Bible say about Christ's peace?

Answered in 2 sources

Christ's peace is a unique gift He offers, distinct from worldly peace, as seen in John 14:27.

In John 14:27, Jesus states, 'Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world gives, give I unto you.' This reflects Christ's intention to provide a deep, inward peace that transcends worldly comforts and circumstances. Unlike the fleeting nature of worldly peace, which can often lead to more turmoil, the peace Christ offers is rooted in reconciliation with God, grounded in His sacrificial death and the assurance of salvation. He uniquely possesses the authority to dispense this peace, as He has purchased it with His own blood.
