What does the Bible say about fret not?

Answered in 1 source

Psalm 37 instructs believers not to fret or be envious of evildoers.

In Psalm 37, the psalmist repeatedly admonishes God's people to 'fret not' themselves because of evildoers. This means to not be consumed with anger or jealousy against those who seem to prosper through wickedness. Instead, believers are encouraged to trust in the Lord, commit their ways to Him, and rest in His promises. The assurance is that evildoers will ultimately perish, while the righteous will inherit the earth and be established in their faith.
