What does the Bible say about Jesus' love for His disciples?

In John 13:1, we see the profound depth of Jesus' love for His disciples. He loved them not only during His earthly ministry but with an eternal love that transcends time. This love was demonstrated through His actions, such as washing their feet, symbolizing service and humility. Jesus' love is characterized by sacrifice; He willingly faced the cross, knowing the suffering ahead, simply because He loved those the Father had given Him.
