The Bible teaches that reprobation is the act of God passing over some individuals, allowing them to fulfill their sinful desires, resulting in their ultimate condemnation.
Reprobation, as seen in Scripture, involves God's sovereign decision to not extend grace to certain individuals. This is illustrated in Romans 9:17-18, where God says, 'For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, “For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I might show my power in you and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.” So then he has mercy on whomever he wills, and he hardens whomever he wills.' Here, we see that God uses both Moses and Pharaoh for His divine purposes. Those whom God reprobates are allowed to pursue their sinful inclinations, leading them to a state of condemnation, aligning with the doctrine of total depravity.
