What does the Bible say about the heart and speech in relation to love for Christ?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks, especially regarding love for Christ.

The scriptures emphasize that a true love for Christ naturally results in heartfelt expression. In Psalm 45, the psalmist states, 'My heart is indicting a good matter; I speak of the things which I have made touching the king.' This demonstrates that genuine love for the King, Jesus Christ, compels one to express their thoughts and feelings about Him. The heart is seen as a source of deep truths, and genuine love manifests itself in speech. When the heart is filled with gratitude and admiration for Christ, it overflows, making it impossible to remain silent about His greatness.
