What does the Bible say about the importance of believing Scripture?

Believing Scripture is not merely about academic knowledge or diligent study; it is about believing God's revelation as it points to Christ. As stated in John 5:46-47, if one truly believes Moses, they would believe in Jesus, for Moses wrote about Him. Furthermore, true belief in Scripture is recognizing that the Scriptures testify of Christ and highlight our need for salvation through Him.
